Chapters 40-6 and 40-8 of the Rhode Island General Laws, as amended; Title XIX of the Social Security Act

Purpose and Reason:

In accordance with Rhode Island General Laws (RIGL) Chapter 42-35, EOHHS amends this rule in order to reflect an increase in the Minimum Protected Resource Amount from $23,448 to $23,844 and an increase in the Maximum Protected Resource Amount from $117,240 to $119,220. These rules are being amended in order to prevent wrongful denial or discontinuance of benefits for Medicaid applicants and beneficiaries.
